Who this is

This site belongs to Step by Step Pavers, the trading name of J&L Viana General Services LLC. We are a paver, stone and concrete contractor based in New Port Richey, Florida, working across the Tampa Bay area. Our phone number and email address are at the bottom of this page and in the footer of every page.

What the estimate form collects

The form on the contact page asks for what we need to price a job and get back to you, and nothing else.

Your name, phone number and email address, so that a person can answer you.
Your city, because the drive is part of the estimate and we cover five counties.
The project type, the approximate size and what you need, which is what an estimate is built from.
A budget range, so we can say early on if the job and the number are far apart.
How you heard about us, which is optional and only tells us where our work is coming from.

We use those details to prepare your estimate and to talk to you about the job. We do not sell them, we do not rent them, and we do not pass them to anyone for advertising.

The checks that run with the form

The form carries one field that is hidden from a person and it records the moment the page opened. Both are there to catch automated submissions. The server also sees the internet address the request came from. It uses that address to limit how many requests one address can send in a short time, to catch a request sent twice, and it includes the address in the notification email that reaches our mailbox. None of it goes into a profile of you, and we do not sell it or rent it.

Where it goes, and how long we keep it

A submitted form reaches us as an email, carried by the service that delivers mail for this site, and it lands in the company mailbox at stepbysteppavers@outlook.com. We keep the request while we are quoting the job, and after that with our own records of the work we have done. If you never became a customer, ask and we will take it out.

Cookies and measurement

Right now this site runs no analytics and sets no cookie of any kind. Nothing is stored in your browser by us, and there is nothing to accept or refuse.

If we do turn measurement on, it will be Google Analytics, a banner will ask you first, nothing will be written until you accept, and a Cookie settings button will appear in the footer so you can change your answer later. There will be no advertising cookie either way.

The other companies involved

The company that hosts this site. It serves these pages and keeps ordinary server records, including the internet address of each request, to keep the site running and to stop abuse.
The service that delivers our notification email. It carries your request from the form to our mailbox and holds it only long enough to do that.
Google Analytics, and only if measurement is on and you have accepted it. It belongs to Google and Google's own terms cover what it does.
Facebook and Instagram. The footer links go to our pages there. Following one takes you onto their site, where their rules apply, not ours. We run no tracking pixel for either one on this site.

Asking us to delete your details

Email stepbysteppavers@outlook.com or call (929) 350‑5627 and say you want your request removed. Give us the name and the phone number you used so we can find the right one. We will take it out and tell you when it is done, apart from anything we have to keep because the job went ahead and the paperwork belongs with it.

Children

This site is for adults arranging work on a property. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us a form, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this page

If what we do changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. We do not send a separate notice, so that date is the thing to check.
