Concrete work
Concrete slabs, sidewalks and flatwork in the Tampa Bay area
We pour concrete as well as lay pavers. Slabs, sidewalks, driveway flatwork, and the footers and edge strips that sit under the rest of the work we do.
01 What the job involves
Flat concrete, and the concrete nobody sees
Half of this work is a surface you walk on and half of it is buried under paving or block. Concrete sits on our list beside the paving, so a job can be quoted either way on the same visit.
- Slabs. Flat concrete poured where you want a hard surface and paving is not the answer, at the back door, under a shed, beside the garage.
- Sidewalks and paths. A concrete run from the drive to the front door, or down the side of the house to a gate.
- Driveway flatwork. A drive poured in concrete rather than laid in pavers. We price both, because we do both, and you can compare the two on one visit.
- Footers under block walls. Every landscape block wall we build sits on a footer we dig and pour first. It is concrete work, and it is ours.
- Edge strips under paver work. On the backyard patio job we trenched and poured a concrete strip along the fence line, then set the block edge course on it before any paving went down.
- A plain finish, and nothing else claimed. We have no photograph of a stamped or patterned finish, so we are not going to put it on the page. Ask us on site and you will get a straight answer.
02 What is on file
No finished concrete photograph yet
The concrete we have photographed sits inside other jobs. There is a footer poured down a trench on the block wall job, and a concrete strip run along a fence line under a block edge on the patio job. Both are real, both are ours, and neither one is what somebody shopping for a slab wants to look at.
So this page has no photo grid. A grey box with the words photo coming soon in it would tell you less than this paragraph already has. When we pour a slab or a sidewalk we can photograph, it goes up here, and until then the two links beside this show you the concrete we can prove.

04 Questions
Three things people ask about the concrete side
Do you do concrete, not just pavers?
Yes. Concrete is on the list next to the paving, and on the wall and patio jobs the concrete went in before the block did.
How do you decide between concrete and pavers?
We look at the area with you and go through both. Concrete is one poured surface, pavers are units laid on a compacted base, and the estimate can cover either.
What areas do you pour in?
The Tampa Bay area. We work out of New Port Richey and go into Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee and Hernando counties.
